7.6/10

The hotel is located just steps away from Puerta del Sol, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot or by public transport. While the room was spacious for our group of three adults, the constant noise from people coming in and out was a bit disruptive, along with the challenge of enjoying the postcard window view that seemed designed for taller guests. Parking was provided initially at no cost, adding to the overall convenience of the stay.

Rooms
7.0
The room was large and accommodated our group comfortably, but the noise from other guests was a bit bothersome, and accessing the window view required the height of a basketball player.
Service
9.0
The hotel staff were very nice and helpful, going above and beyond to assist with booking transportation and offering a delightful continental breakfast service.
Location
9.0
The hotel's location near Puerta del Sol was fantastic, enabling easy exploration of the city by foot or public transport. The proximity to the metro station and a vibrant market added to the appeal of the central location.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left much to be desired with limited options and freshness concerns. However, the light salads offered a lighter alternative for those on a budget.
Facilities
8.0
The boutique-style hotel offered a range of services from room service to tours and ticket assistance, enhancing the overall stay experience.

7.0/10

Staying at the hotel was a mixed experience. The room, though tight for four people, still managed to be comfortable. Natural light was scarce, and there was noise from the wooden hallway floors. Unfortunately, we faced a minor inconvenience as our room wasn't available the first night due to a heating problem.

Rooms
7.0
The room, despite being a bit snug for four people, provided comfort. It lacked natural light and had some noise from the hallway's wooden floors. We also had a delay in checking in on the first night due to a heating issue.
Service
9.0
The staff was incredibly helpful throughout our stay. From assisting with booking a taxi to dealing with an unexpected room maintenance issue, they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Although we had to relocate to another property due to maintenance, their level of service was exceptional.
Location
8.0
The hotel's location was superb, just a stone's throw away from Puerta del Sol, making it convenient for exploring the city on foot. It was centrally located, offering easy access to key attractions like Parc de Retiro and Plaza Mayor. The bustling city center ensured we were close to everything we wanted to see.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience left much to be desired with limited options and a cramped space. The basement restaurant, while cozy, lacked variety in its offerings. The self-service breakfast provided basic choices, but the selection was not extensive.
Facilities
6.0
The hotel's facilities were adequate, catering to essential needs. However, there was room for improvement in terms of dining options and noise insulation in the rooms.

5.4/10

I had a bit of a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were very small for the price, and there was a serious need for noise abatement materials. I ended up staying in Hotel Pasajes, which wasn't as comfortable, and on top of that, we had to move to another one of their hotels due to maintenance issues on our floor.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were very small for the price and lacked noise abatement materials.
Service
7.0
The service was good overall. They were helpful and cooperative, even offering us a discounted taxi and printing our boarding pass. However, the mishap with the room change was a bit inconvenient.
Location
6.0
The location is pretty central, close to the main square, metro station, and hop-on bus station. It's not as clean as it looks in the pictures, and the mornings can get noisy due to deliveries to nearby establishments.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a bit poor. The breakfast lacked some basics like eggs, but the basement restaurant was cozy. It was self-service with juice, coffee, pastries, fruit, toast, eggs, bacon, and sausages.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were average. Nothing too special to highlight.
